Team Horizon Effect meets Team Spyder
For our first outreach activity, we had a productive exchange of ideas between Team Horizon Effect and Team Spyder, a well known FRC team. We had the opportunity to interact with their team members which included FTC Dean’s list winner, Madelyn Nguyen. We also communicated with a team member from the FTC team Green Griffin. The aim of the meet was to discuss a course of action for the chassis and shooter mechanism for the bot being developed. It was a fruitful discussion and many good ideas were put forth by both teams. This thoughtful and productive communication session was truly an enriching experience for us.

Mock Sponsorship and Upskilling
At Team Horizon effect, we believe that communication is essential to build connections. As aspiring tech entrepreneurs, we know that our speaking and persuasive skills have to be on point. To better our marketing skills, we decided to conduct a mock sponsorship and up skilling session with our high school’s Head Girl. This interactive and engaging session allowed us to further explore our presenting and business skills. We got feedback and implemented it wherever possible and now we’re fully prepared to put our A game on when we pitch to future sponsors and investors.
