ABOUT US

Team Horizon Effect is a team of high school learners from JBCN International School Oshiwara, Mumbai. Our team consists of 1 returning member from last season and 9 rookie members. We try to tackle every challenge that we face with exceptional grace and develop innovative solutions. We are curious about the various aspects of robot building and like to implement out of the box ideas and strategies onto the field!

TEAM MEMBERS

My name, Parth Bhawsar from IBDP 1. I like innovating with different things and like to know how things work. I am damn passionate about physics and in particular, relativistic mechanics and theoretical physics. I like working in team-based events like FTC and am competitive and calm minded. I also like to apply out of the box and innovative ideas to the problems I come across. Other than STEM I also like to take part in MUNs. I also hope to pursue Relativistic mechanics in the future.

I, Ateendra Pandey am an avid fan of F1, Cricket, and Football. I also have an interest in automobile engineering and that attracted me to robotics and FTC. In my free time, I love to read about how cars work and are made but also play my xbox.

Hi! My name is Ara and I’m a tech enthusiast. I also really like music, films and all things related to pop culture.
Since a young age, I’ve always been good at math but now I’m starting to delve deeper into programming and I love it! Team Horizon Effect is an FTC team that my friends and I are part of. We’ve all decided to go on this FTC journey together and lead a path to victory!

Hi! I am Yuthika Singh, I am 14 years old and this is my first year in the FIRST Tech Challenge. My passion for science and mathematics drew me to robotics. So far, I have been to only one robotic competition, so I want to be a part of more robotics challenges and expand my horizon in the field of STEM. I am very determined towards my work and think out of the box ideas, which I will do in this challenge. I would like to participate in more problem-solving competitions and implement my knowledge in STEM in the future.

Hello! My name is Parth Pillai. I am in 9th standard. I am studying all biology, physics, chemistry and computer science especially Mathematics. I joined FTC because I am interested in building robots and programming. FTC helped me to know who I really am. It is like a puzzle for me to solve the syntax errors and where to put the parts for the bot. It includes physics, robotics and computer science. I like to do FTC.

Hi! My name is Nisarg Banda and I’m from grade 10. From a very young age, I’ve felt passionate about the sciences, physics in particular, as the idea of exploring the unknown is what intrigues me the most! I am also extremely passionate about developments in the automobile and tech industry. Apart from being a science and tech enthusiast, I love playing football, reading books and listening to music!

Hi, my name is Anvesha Kedia, currently studying in the 10th grade. I’ve always been inclined towards math and the sciences, especially physics. FTC has allowed me to channel this interest more productively along with teaching me many different things I wasn’t aware of earlier. Other than that, I’m an avid reader with a passion for sketching and painting as well!

Hello, I'm Adith, and I'm currently studying in the 9th grade. I always took interest in STEM subjects and loved how they channeled my creativity and imagination! I'm mostly inclined towards physics (mostly Astronomy) so I took part in FTC to test out my engineering skills and other than that I also do Graphic designing as a hobby!

I, Krishit Patel believe in having and living a much more efficient lifestyle. As a great man once said, curiosity never ends, and there is no age limit for learning. I like to gaze at random objects around me, and think of 'how it works', 'its purpose here', and 'can i make it more efficient, to live in a more sustainable environment'. I have taken part in 2 WRO's, 1 FLL, and 1 FTC aswell.

Hi my name is Jadyn Rodrigues and this is my first year in First Tech Challenge. I am in Grade 9 and I have taken all of the sciences and mathematics. The reason I joined FTC is because I was interested in robotics, computer science, and programming and so far I am pleased with all the coding and designing!
